This Gothic building, with its imposing spiral columns and high ceilings, was the centre of the silk trade and a symbol of mercantile wealth. Its Sala de Contratación is particularly impressive, and its orange courtyard offers a haven of peace in the midst of the bustling city. Known as one of the most important Gothic buildings in Europe, you cannot fail to admire its imposing architecture and commercial history.
