At Valencia&Go, we believe in the transformative power of tourism. After the devastating effects of the flooding in l’Horta Sud, a beloved area near the city of Valencia, we decided to contribute and help the affected communities while offering you a unique way to experience the city as it has always been. That’s why we’ve launched the Solidarity Tours of Valencia&Go.

What are the Solidarity Tours?

From November 14th to December 31st, when you book any of our tours, 20% of the profit will be donated to the Fundació Horta Sud. This organization is working tirelessly to support the people and families affected by the flooding, helping in their recovery and the rebuilding of their community.

A Positive Impact Through Tourism

Valencia stands strong and proud, and we want you to be part of that strength. The city remains a safe and vibrant destination, with its rich cultural programming and warm hospitality. While enjoying the city’s charm, its monuments, history, and traditions, you’ll be contributing to the recovery of l’Horta Sud. Together, we can make a difference.

Visiting Valencia is not just an opportunity to explore its beauty and culture, but also a way to stand in solidarity with those who need it the most. Traveling has never been so rewarding! Every step you take through the city, every story you hear from our local guides, will help rebuild a stronger future for the l’Horta Sud community.

General Conditions:

  • Promotion Period: November 14th to December 31st, 2024.
  • Donation Benefit: 20% of the total from each tour will be donated to the Fundació Horta Sud.
  • How is the donation made? Once you make your purchase, 20% of the amount will be directly donated to the Foundation. We will publish the total amount raised on our social media to keep you informed about the impact we are creating together.

Your Journey, Our Solidarity

Tourists visiting Valencia during this period will find a city that is still standing, intact, and ready to welcome them with open arms. Since the second day after the storm, the airport has been fully operational, long-distance trains to Madrid and Barcelona have been running since November 15th. Roads are accessible, and the bus service has been reinforced to ensure smooth transportation. Additionally, the metro is about to resume operation, while the main trams are already running.

However, Valencia offers many other ways to get around the city, such as taxis, bicycles, electric scooters, and motorcycles, all within a safe and accessible environment.

Do Your Part: Visit and Support

The recovery of l’Horta Sud is everyone’s responsibility. Let’s not allow ignorance or fear to hold us back. Take the opportunity to travel and enjoy the city with a greater purpose. Visiting Valencia, speaking with local guides, and immersing yourself in its history and culture is a beautiful way to show solidarity. Because, in the end, the city remains alive, vibrant, and open to curious travelers who wish to know, understand, and enjoy it, stronger than ever.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of it 🧡
